The Points was played this afternoon on tricky ice. 11 members participated allowing time for 8 of the 10 points of the game to be attempted.

Chris Forbes was the clear winner with 45 points and was awarded the Claret Jug.

Carol Ross was the highest scoring female with 24 points and was awarded the Fiona Fraser Trophy.

Team Aberdeen rounded off the series of 4 individual competition never finishing off the 'podium' with 2 wins and 2 runners up. This combined score means Aberdeen have won the Club Bonspiel Cash Prize and Trophy.

After 16 ends the final score was (15-11) in favour of Team Shand.

150th Anniversary Bonspiel

Aberdeen CC celebrated it's 150th Anniversary in style last Saturday. 27 members past and present and 1 guest participated in a double session of curling while 6 past members watched on.

A tasty dinner of steak pie and cheescake was then enjoyed by all and then followed by some wonderful musical entertainment from Aberdeen Ukes before the grand raffle and prize giving.

The winners of the Bonspiel were Fiona Glascodine, John Glascodine, Andy Scott and Peter Knoll who get their names on the Centenary Trophy.
